Federal Work-Study at White Mountains Community College
Work Study is part-time jobs on campus. The pay rate is currently $8/hour with pay periods running on a bi-weekly schedule. Students are limited to a range of 8-10 hours per week. Students are responsible for checking with the Financial Aid Office when the semester begins to review the list of available jobs. You will be responsible for making the initial contact with a supervisor and working out a mutually-acceptable work schedule. You must complete, an I-9 form, a W-4 form and a Payroll Authorization Form in order to be set up on the State of N.H.'s payroll system. These forms are available in the Financial Aid Office or can be downloaded at this website. Students are encouraged to seek placement in jobs that complement and reinforce the recipient's educational program and career goals.
